The Savage Night
Once the bane of Prince Arthur Sherrill’s existence, and a driving force in Kindred politics for over half a century, the Carthian reformers tried to further democratize the city’s constitution and modernize it into something more akin to other American Carthian-run cities.
The ranks of these disenfranchised Kindred had been growing restless for decades, and when Elias Haynes, San Francisco’s legendary former Prince, secretly returned in an attempt to take the city back, they joined causes. Through the efforts of members such as Keegan Whitling, Omar Robinson, and Danica Stroud, and at the direction of Haynes, the reformers began organizing a revolution. Keegan’s Final Death at the hands of vampire hunters, caught in Sherrill’s machinations, provided the spark.
The revolt was crushed so swiftly, however, and so brutally that, tonight, the reformers are, for all intents and purposes, non-existent. What few supporters there were who managed to survive dare not risk further reprisals, and in any case, few would choose to side with them now.
